I have a set of Sanderons BB2 headers... allow you to get to the plugs, and no need to "dimple" a tube or tubes to clear the OEM steering gear (assumning that is what you are running).

The car is not on the road as of yet, but it looks as if I should not have issues with clearance looking at the car as it sits today.

I've got Patriot shortys on mine. Power steering box clearance, major ground clearance. My only complaint is the tube diameter is only 1 3/4", but thats ok for my ol burb motor.

I've got the Hooker Super Comps, and I have to dimple them to get them to fit with solid motor mounts, (hit steering box). Also changing spark plugs is somewhat of a chore.....

If your car is lowered is where you get into trouble. My brother spent 1800 having a set built to gain ground clearance. I am going with lemmons, as they have about the best deal going for a first gen and they are a great header. Check em out - they're 1200, but comparable to custom built and a lot less.
