PRI (Performane Racing Industry) is supposed to be a little more of a "meat & potatoes", hardcore type of show than SEMA. I am not ripping on SEMA, never been there or PRI yet that is...
Anyway there will be 1,300+ vendors at the Indiana Convention Center & RCA Dome, in Indianapolis from December 9-11th.
Take a look at the link below for more details.
http://www.performanceracing.com/content/?id=2656 :look:
This show is supposed to be open only to people in the automotive industry*, but just about any business name will do. Just don't try to get in with a business license like "Tina's Flower Shop".
Pre-registration is closed, but you can still register on-site at the show between Dec. 8-10, 2004.
*You MUST bring company ID as well as verification for EACH employee:
Company ID (one of the following)
Copy of business license, copy of vendor permit, or copy of resale license.
Employee ID (one of the following)
Copy of paycheck stub, copy of W2 form, or business card.

You just need a business license and make some "business cards" up for you and your "co-workers"..... :icon996:

I will be in Indy that Friday and Saturday but will not be able to show up for it. My wife has surgery Friday to remove a tumor and will not be in the best of shape to do much nor will I.
This is the last year for it to be in Indy. Next year it will be in Florida.

You can think of it like this PRI is Go and SEMA is Show. For example we were talking to the guys at Edelbrock about some heads and they said that they don’t have any of the good stuff at this show and we would have to go to PRI to see the ones we wanted. one is not better then the other just matters what you want. SEMA is the largest convention if that says anything.

I like both shows, SEMA is better for babes. PRI more my type of stuff.
Going again this year.

What is the target day any of you are going? I will be there Friday. It's always a good time. Lots of great in depth tech info and discussions.

Guys,
I will there with a few friends early Friday morning and we will be hitting a few specific vendors on Friday and staying at the Hampton Inn near the airport Friday night and heading back Saturday to follow up on vendors and explore more of what we seen Friday.
Let me know if any of you guys might want to get together Friday night on the town :bananna2:
