Seat requirements for Open Track and other Events

I have a set of 78 (or 79, out of the pace car) Mustang recaro seats in my 69 camaro. I'm not finding much on seat specifications for these events. Would these seats be ok or should I purchase a set of aftermarket seats? Are the safey standards better on the aftermarket seats (corbeau, sparco, recaro..) vs. the OEM production?
The car does have a 6 point cage and I plan on installing a 5 point harness.

Depends on the organization and often which run group.

I run with a BMW club and their only requirement is that the two seats and belts are the same and mounted securely. The passenger seat is only required until you get signed off to go solo. If you have not bean out on a road course be warned its ADDICTING, Good Luck Randy
