View Full Version : VIDEO: 2006 Hot Rod Super Nat's - Springfield, Ill
I do believe this makes video #5!! :)
Apparently Pro-STREET is alive and well and living in Springfield Illinois. They were *everywhere*!
So, if you've got 12 minutes to spare, go grab a drink, turn up the volume, sit down and enjoy the video. It's the next best thing to being there! :twothumbs:

Awesome video!
...Apparently Pro-STREET is alive and well and living in Springfield Illinois. They were *everywhere*!...
It was like that last year too.
Thanks rocketrod!
I was kind of hoping for more comments given the 50+ views.
You know, "hey that's awesome", "hey, your music selection sucks", "hey, thanks for wasting my time", "nice compilation", somethin'!! :)

Great video, I looks like the weather really didn't cooperate. How many cars were there? It looked a little sparse. Thanks again!

More chicks, more engine audio, less music. The music got irritating and was very hard to hear the cars over it. I got half way through the short version and shut it down. What better sound is there than a big block rumbling or huffer whistling?!? Either one will beat out music anytime. Great vid though. Viva La Pro Street!
I have to admit, I did think about creating the "non-music" version....Maybe I'll set that up if I have time today.
There may have been 300 cars. A handful of vendors showed up, but not as many big names as I was expecting.
Thanks guys. :)
Comet, the sound of the orange and white 55 on the Dyno is worth seeing the whole video! It was truely a high revving screamer!
EDIT: sorry man, it looks like I deleted the original video captures off my camcorder, I only have the edited/mixed stuff left.

Great video, only thing I would do different is more engine sounds, but being 40 something, I loved the choice of music too.
Let me know when this come up next year, I would like to attend. I just loved the 78-79 two door Delta 88 Black. Cool way to build a nice driver, I need to remember that one.
Thanks for taking the time to do the video and post it.

Cool video. Thanks for sharing. You probably spent a lot of time doing that.
Truthfully though... You grabbed the wrong video. That was your footage from the 1990 Hot Rod Super Nats. We want the cool footage of the Pro-Touring cars and late-model hot rods.

I was at the super chevy show in reading, PA, what, last month? and I was pleasantly surprised that there was plenty of foward thinking cars there.
