I have a Momo Corsa wheel mounted in my '69 Camaro using a momo-compatible hub. I ordered the Momo hub but the place I ordered from said this other brand actually works better on the GM columns, so I let them switch the order.

My problem is the horn ring doesn't fit on the wheel. Does anyone know if the ring is supposed to fit into the wheel or the hub? The ring is just not big enough, so it is a loose fit. This seems quite strange considering the horn ring came in the box with the steering wheel. I had the steering wheel on my Corvette race car for several years so I never tried fitting the horn ring until now.

Any idears?

It fits between the wheel and trim ring (at least on my Momo wheel). The Momo hub has a shim type of thing that sandwiches between the hub and the wheel, it projects through the hole in the wheel, and supports the horn button. Why Momo doesn't supply this with the wheel like it does the horn, I have no idea.

ah - so I am missing a part and this hub did not come with it. I wonder if I could find that peice somewhere - any clue what I would even call it?

I'm not sure what it's called, but it basically looks like a really thin piece of tubing with a thin flange running around the middle of it. It looks like it's sheet metal. Honestly, if you can send back the hub that doesn't have the right parts and get the Momo hub, that owuld probably be easiest, since I don't think they carry it separately.
