Man, 5900? From what I can see, that's not too bad, but Bonny looks like she has potential. tough call, I love my 2nd gen. No way to keep Bonny and pick up a 2nd gen?

Man, I understand, my wife is not too big on the cars either. Maybe it's the way they just appeared at the house one day. Although she's goin to shows on weekends now. Second gens are all over the place, think I'd hang on to Bonny, and get a second gen a little later.

Hmmm. If you can't have both :dunno:. Both would be fun, it really depends on what you are wanting your car to do for you. If you are looking for cruiser that would not be something you would see every day, keep the Bonneville. If you are looking for something that you can make fast and corner hard, get the Camaro. Not that you can't do it with the Bonne ;) , it would just be a lot more expensive :hammer: .

1) man you gotta work on hitting enter between pictures, lol.
2) As a proud owner of a second gen...I say keep the bonnie. That camaro is one of my favorites of all time ever in the history of everything, but I don't think I've EVER seen a bonnie rodded out!!

well... i think you should keep the bonny.... A) it'll keep the wife happy
B) you've got a nice cruising car C) where did you find this 2nd gen :seizure: j/k, but seriously, if you decide not to :secret:

Without question, I think you should sell the first gen, keep the Bonneville and put a big ole rat motor in it, make it a really fun cruiser/bruiser and BUY THAT SECOND GEN!!!!! If the car is as solid as it looks, it's a darned good find. Then, take all the money that you made on the same of the first gen, and put it into the second gen. Without any hesitation, I recommend the Lateral Dynamics 3-Link Rear Suspension system, and also the very soon to be released front suspension components from the same company. You'll still have a lot of money left over, so put some thoughtful additional upgrades into the car, and use the remainder to fund the Bonny.
In all seriousness, it's a fun decision to ponder, no right or wrong answer!

Don't know if you've seen pics of my 2nd gen. Just messin round and went to Bens website www.hermancedesign.com (http://www.hermancedesign.com) went into the gallery, saw the nose of a black 2nd gen, clicked on it, and low and behold, my dream car! PM'd him and told him, that car is freakin SICK!!
I'd pick up that 2nd gen over the cruiser pontiac personally. And you might remember that I mentioned in your old post how much I really like the big mid-60's pontiacs too.
the body looks pretty straight on that Camaro......all the parts look to be there. doesn't matter if it isn't a true SS or Z IMHO. (you're not taking it to Barrett Jackson's right? ) :)

to get the second gen
1. get rid of your wife (is that even an option or would she take the cars with her??) ok just kiddin...
2. sell the germans
If I were you I'd keep bonnie til the end, to me thats the coolest car you have.....

I'd get the second gen! I passed on a 71 Z28 back in the late 90's. Guy was asking 1500 for it... I just couldn't get past the brown/white interior. The next day I realized how stupid that was cause I was going to junk the interior anyways... BUT... of course he had sold it to the guy that showed up right after I had left.
I found my 67 a few weeks later though... so that made up for it. Still eventually wanting to find an early second gen. The real split bumper cars (read - with the round turn signals) look tough as hell IMO.

Dont give up on the Bonne. These Big cars are the latest craze because the muscle car market is out of control. Just wait save your money and buy a sec gen later.

do you ever go up to the year one shows? there's usually pretty decent rides there. also I know where there's a true 70 1/2 rs z28 4 spd car. the guy wants more for it, around 12k but it's still a deal for this car.
