Here are some build pictures of my car. I have owned the car since I was 14, Now 38. The car was a street/drag car up to 2 years ago. It had a 470 CI big block auto and ran 11.40 at best.
Thanks to all my Friends that helped me with the car at night and weekends I have the car on the road, track and drag strip again. My PT Garage has more pictures that show the car at its currant state. Thanks for looking Randy

I saw this car at Super Chevy NH and talked to Randy for a bit. He is a super nice guy and he works this car on road courses! The cage in the car is really wild to check out in person.
I hope some day to be able to run with you Randy once I get my pile of junk put together!

Thanks for all the nice feed back. I do not have any video yet but hope to get some soon. I plan to drag the car at Mussel Paluza next Sunday at Lebanon Vally and then go run 2 days with the BMW club at Lime Rock on 9-22,23-06. Chris has a in car camera for his M3 and I hope to get some good video clips. Here are a few pictures from the fist time we took the car to Lime Rock. Thanks Randy

Cool car. . The million dollar question...
What does it turn for a lap at LRP?

Hi Wendall I have not got lap times yet as I have only brought the Camaro to the LRP twice. I am trying to fine tune the chaise and learn how to drive better. I am hoping to turn laps around 1.02 with track tires.
I met the chief driving instructor for Skip Barber Driving School and he thought the car was capable of turning laps under a minuet with a good driver.
I have a two day event with BMW next month and hope to get some lap times to help me learn. Thanks Randy

I love it. Ran LRP in the 70's with a 240Z with the car clubs. Best wishes. Hope to get out there and watch. The chief driving instructor is a good guy.

1:02 is running. Sub minute is lofty territory. Keep at it. I'll be there for the busch race next month. Hoping for a 1:01 with the SVRA camaro I work on.

It's the #80 vintage TA camaro. Marron and yellow. I'm the blonde guy under the car while the driver relaxes.

Wendell, are you running with the Vintage Festival this weekend or on the 29th and 30th with the Busch series?
wendell

No vintage festival for us. We'll get in the HRG support race for the Busch weekend. Last year we were in A paddock(?) closest to Big Bend.

Had a great weekend at Lime Rock and got to meet Randy Bell of Pro Bell fame. Also met Rick Leavitt of Northern Fabrication. Rick runs a chassis fabbication shop in centeral CT and built the Pro Bell chassis. He's very knowlegable and friendly, check him out. Wish I had more time to talk to them both but of course things got hectic once they stopped by.
The #80 took second place and the fastest lap of the weekend in HRG group 5. We were hoping for a 1:01 but didn't have the tires for it. Had to settle for a 1:02.15. Back to the lab for the winter...

Glad to hear you had a good run. I had to get home so I only caught the Busch Race. Thanks for letting us look at the car. It looks like they keep you busy. I was glad to meet you and hope to be able to watch one of your races next year. Randy
PS If I get time I will post some pictures of the # 80 I took.

Very cool. I dig the RS front panel on the non-RS car, are you going to put the lights in it, or are you using it for something else?

what mirrors are you running?
ProBell

The front break ducts will tie into the RS holes. Randy

The mirrors are out of a street rod book. I am not happy with them. They have a very limited view and tend to drop down. The plastic screw that holds them up striped out with in the first week.
If you are still interested let me know and I will look through my recites and can tell you exactly what they are.
