Since my GTO is getting a great deal of new tech, I figured I would try to find out about HID Sealed Beam replacement lights for my '66 GTO.
Any leads or tips on products?
Thanks.

I've got some info somewhere around my office. I'll have a look and see if I can find it.......always wanted to do an HID conversion with the 7" headlights.

I made my own with the HID's from a donor car and projector's from another donor car inside a generic 7" round headlight and sealed it up nicely, I can get some pics of them once the car gets back from paint... :)

Check with the guys at AAW. They've got some neat light solutions.

From experience, stay away from H4's and try to find 9007 types. You can get the conversion harnesses from Summit (APC makes them).

There was a thread on this a while back. Seems like there was questioning of the brightness on the xenarc kit? Anyone know if the gen 2 is any better?

Why's that? I haven't ever had a problem with my H4 conversion.
Or are you talking about the HID stuff?

I've never seen a 5 3/4" round conversion that uses 9007/9006's. Do you have a source for these?

How about a HID system that has provisions for Hi/Low and Low beams only for a 4 light system? I have 70 GTO I would like to convert.

Do some searching on this site, I think somone used some sort of BMW 5 series lights or such... then again, I don't think they were HID. Very cool though.

These guys have a conversion kit in case you missed it: http://www.deltalights.com/products.asp?pid=23979
I think the late '90s, early '00s Jag HID lights look cool if you're going to mod something.
