Has anyone watched this show?
I have never seen John Force before, but is he really like that? I saw the episode about his daughter's prom, and he was just acting like an insane person... Was he just acting it up for the show? It was actually pretty funny, although I think the act will wear thin quickly...

I partied with John some years ago at the Grand opening of the Race Rock here in Orlando. Him, Prudome (sp), Rusty Wallace, Jeff Gordon, were all partners in Race Rock. He is pretty wide open, got pictures somewhere of he and I 2 fisted with Buds. He had a driver take him home, it was hilarious!
The premise of the show is how he sacrificed his family for his racing career, and now he wants his family back. On the first show he told how he was still married, but did not live with her. She said he is to high strung. Imagine that! I think Ashley and Courtney are cute, Brittany is a bit tubby for me, but I am being picky, LOL!

Thats the way john is. I work on a different team but I see him all the time. He's a great guy and means the best he just comes off harsh sometimes. He's great for the sport and I'm glad to see the TV exposure for the sport even though some of the sounds for the cars are off a little like revving the engines at the line.

It's the only car-related show that my wife will watch with me.
I'd let Courtney or Ashley drive anytime...

My sister used to live a few blocks from his shop and I used to pop by and gaze in the the back door when I went to visit him uh, her I mean. Once he invited me in to come hang out and yes, that's how is is. He's a nut case that goes a bazillion miles an hour all the time. I do have to say I watch the show but it's wearing on me. Don't think I'll make the entire season.

My wife actually like it to. That is just how he is vs. made up drama, fights, and deadlines to make a bike.

I worked for ( or helped out ) Del Worsham in the 1995 NHRA season.
I met John Force and hung around in the pits with all the teams at the time. I remember playing pinball with his girls at a hotel lobby in Virginia.
They were all little girls at the time. WOW ! Things change ! John was always really nice and helpful to the Worsham Team. At that time , Worsham didn't have a big sponsorship. Austin Coil was great too .

Hey fellas,
Ashley and I graduated together...EHS! class of 2000!
Her appearance has changed over the years.
To the old dirty guys, she was a cheerleader our senior year. :naughty: Also, in high school, she was quit, shy, and never seeked attention. She is very down to earth...I wish her the best of luck

I was lucky enough to meet John, Eric and Robert at Sears Point a coulple of weeks age. He came out of his coach and fisrt thing says "Any of you guys watching 'Driving Force'?" "Well I'm really nicer than that!" The rest of the meet and greet was full throttle John Force though. Great, genuine guy who answeared all questions asked of him. Later he says" I really want to thank all of you for coming by, without you fans, I couldn't be having so much fun.
The best part of the meet & greet is being on the inside looking out when they test fire the car. Top fuel pits, the only place you can see 30+ grown men crying with smiles on their faces!
