David (redhead) on the board, owns this 68 Camaro RS / SS convertible. David has owned the car for many years and tore it apart a few years ago. The Oh Sheot factor stopped him from proceding any farther when he found the rust. So now some years later, David called us to make his beloved Camaro a car again.

Our goal is to build a mild Pro Touring car that can be driven anywhere. A Wayne Due front sub and DSE drop springs will give it the stance and handling. Wilwood 13" / 12" brakes will be wraped with intro 17" wheels. The original SS 350 motor, 4 speed and 12 bolt will be maintianed. Colors will be a two tone red / red design (see photoshop contest in Outhouse).

So welcome Daivd to the club. We will try to update as we go.

Frank, do you ever take on a project that isn't a rust bucket?

I'm starting to think you are addicted to this stuff. :jump:

LOL

OK, if you promise not to tell anyone I will let you in on a secret. Working with rust makes your pee pee bigger! And the Arabs have nothing on restoration guys, we get one virgin in heaven for each car we save. I am well into the hundreds now!

So, now you know!

What’s up with the Conquest to the left I had a Starion for my first car and miss it everyday. He is going to have a garage with two of my favorite cars parked in it.

That Conquest hauls ass from what I hear, it's been leaned on. That is his other love. I always thought those things looked cool. I just never fit well in them. We have a V8 one here in town, bad little Beotch!

hello hello, fellow pro-tourers. I can not say how happy I am to be rejoining the muscle car community after a twelve year absense.
A few months ago I had all but given up on pulling this SS dream together. I invited a prospective buyer by to look it over and in
the midst of my narrative I ended up selling the car to myself.
Frank, Mike and all the prodigy folks have been super to deal with.
I can't believe that one of the most kick-ass f-body shops in the country is just minutes away. The rides that I have seen so far on
this site are by far the cream of the crop and I salute all of you for
the time, effort and love you put into each one the them.

btw, good eye on Brian's part. that 88 conquest tsi is my daily driver. I performed the forged rebuild and tons of other mods over the years to support a super16g turbo. its good for a peaky 350hp
and over 400ft/lbs of torque. I can't wait to get both cars back in the same stable again.

Arabs/Frank Serafine/Heaven..I don't think so...Howell said he'd hate to have seen your pee wee before you started working on rust..looked like a grub worm with a turtle neck sweater on..and that's with a blue vein throbber on.

Could we see a better shot of the side of that trailer? Looks like some familiar cars on there.
