Ok guys, there are some real talented Photochoppers in here. So we are having a little contest for David's 68 Camaro Convertible. It is a 68 RS SS convertible, we will most likely use 17" intro Mulholland 5 wheels http://introwheels.com/pages/w_exposed/mulholland5.shtml (http://introwheels.com/pages/w_exposed/mulholland5.shtml). The car will have a 2" drop and a black cloth convertible top. We are open to ideas, but right now we think we are looking for a classic California two tone with a metallic red top color and lighter solid red bottom color with a dividing line or mellow graphic. We are also open to other two tone ides including coves, fades, etc. We are looking for a subtle classy look for this one. We do not want rally or SS, or any other original style stripes.
David will pick the winning design and you will be credited as the exterior designer of the car. the winner will receive a custom embroidered Team prodigy, Prodigy Customs mechanis shirt ($100 value) and also a embroidered Prodigy Customs hat. We will pick the winner in 2 weeks. Good luck, and thanks in advance.

just to step on frank's toes for a second let me clarify a couple points.
The car is an 350 SS, not an RS/SS (although I wish).
Not sure if I want the light shade or dark shade on top.
I am not oppose to a front bumble bee strip - always loved those.
Feel free to submit more than one rendering.
thanks for all your inputs.

Hmmmm, sounds interesting. I may throw my hat in the ring. Any deadline? Should we post them in this thread, PM or email you guys?
Does that mean you do or do not have the hide-away headlights?

#3 is the best that is hot, hey carter want to make some money?! lol
2 or 3 for sure. Although I think the extended stripes in 1 are a good idea in general. Great job on the chops though.

Carter does really nice work. He is very responsive and has a good sense of what will look good long term.
He has done some drawings for me and I was very happy with the result.
Man, I can't touch those. Great job!

wow carter, I am very impressed. I can see from your entries alone
this disicision is gonna take some effort.
Let me offer you and the others a bit more guidance.
For starters I need to see headlights, I'm non-RS (not that I am
happy about that).
Also nothing again cowls but I would like to see the stock SS hood
with chrome stacks.
Lastly a bit of attitude with a front bumper delete.
Again great job so far.

I can't believe you guys are going to let toad run away with this one. sure he has his sheet together and his designs are solid but I still have not seen the competition. Realize that SEMA is sucking alot of time and energy from the pros and most have backed out. I would like to see some entries from the dreamers amoungst the pro-touring community. It would be great to put something together that we can all have a stake in and can take credit for.
If you need a couple extra days let us know.

Photoshop, that's pretty much the industry standard.

First I want to apologize for the delay. I thought frank would post and he thought I would post, yada yada...
Yikes, this was a difficult choice. I really liked the second entry. It
was sutle and very classy. but this is a camaro so those adjectives
really don't apply. in the end I went with carter's last entry. it is
slick and striking, contemporary yet classic.
Thanks all for your inputs and especially to carter for his creative efforts.
