I maintain a site for a buddy through Yahoo. They have there own program called "Site Builder" that has been pretty easy to learn. It has templates to get you started if you want and is very easy to publish right from the program. http://www.makovette.net I'm using "Dreamweaver to create another site and it is much harder to get the same results.

Thanks for the info.
I couldn't tell if you were looking for a freebie or a pay-type site.
www.1and1.com (http://www.1and1.com) is a good hosting site as is www.godaddy.com (http://www.godaddy.com)
at either place you can pay as little as 5 bucks a month and have your own site, with your own domain name like www.69Nova.com (http://www.69Nova.com)
They have the similar software as mentioned above to basically put your site together. Basically, you pick a template and just upload your pictures and write out the text that you want. Easy stuff.

I want a free one. But as long as it is dirt cheap I would probly do it. Thanks for the info.

I use a photo sharing site called Pbase, its super easy to load pics, and add text and galleries. I like it because you can load full size pics for those with fast connections, but the end user can choose what size they want to look at by clicking on the selector under the pics, incase they have dail up.
Its 22 bucks a year for 400 megs of storage. and with their compression tools, my whole gallery is only like 70 Megs.
Here's my link http://www.pbase.com/steven69/69camaro

OK so I'm talking witha a friend about helping me setup my own little site. But I'm stuck on naming it. It's going to show whats going on in my garage and diffrent events I attend. And the cars I'm into are kinda lowbuck streetfighters, and I want the name to reflect that. Any suggestions?
I'm having the same dilemma in naming my soon-to-be site.
it looks like www.streetfighterrides.com is open.
so is www.streetfyter.com! (stole the name from our resident member!)

If you're looking for a free website kinda thing, you can make your own MSN group. That's what I did... check the link in my sig for my example. It's fine as long as you either know how write html, or if you use Explorer as your primary web surfer. That said, you won't have your own domain name...
Just go to http://groups.msn.com and sign up.
BTW, don't forget that domain names cost money to purchase and maintain.

I just got mine online, not finished, but I wanted the current car in my garage to be out there, for the guy I am doing the car for to see the progress. Again, I have a way to go, like the header and logo, but for right now, I have several pic's up, check it out.
Oh yea, I used 1and1.com. Site is finleybrosmotorsports.com.
