I moved out recently. The big project I have been working on the last few months is almost done. I purchased a mobile home just for me. I'll post some pictures later. It's pretty big, it is 2'000 square ft. So far it has been alot of fun. But it seems like I'm always going to town to get diffrent things for whatever room I'm working on. The best part is my garage. They did the concrete work last week and the steel bulding should be here in two weeks. I was lucky enough to afford a 30 x 50.
I'll post some pictures after I get off work today.

Congrats Dude! The only reason I bought my old house was because of the garage.......lol! I recently moved down to Texas into an apartment and it sucks not having a garage. I have my car in storage but, They won't let me work on it there!:crying:
Congrats! I hope to be in your position in a few years. Gotta finish school and get a good job first.

Thanks Steve. Yeah your right about Home Depot.
Congrats on the new diggs!
This is so funny because growing up and living at my parents' house, if they mentioned the tool/hardware store I about puked. Now-a-days, I cant wait to go there and always love to get gift cards from the BOB (Big Orange Box - Home Depot) and BBB (Big Blue Box - Lowes).
You should join up on www.garagejunkies.net and post the build of your shop. They love that there.

Thanks Josh. I have always loved Home Depot and Lowes but now they are 10 times more fun to go to. Yeah I'll join that site. It looks pretty cool, I'm sure I'll find alot of helpful info there.

andrew..that is not a trailer..that is what we call in illinois as a modular home..alot of difference between that and a double wide..those things are very nice..i was expecting to see you inside a trailer park with 3 feet between you and a neighbor ..with that huge garage tucked in..lol..my buddy got one few years ago very big and nice inside..looks damn good..great job..

I was thinking the same thing when he said "Mobile Home". I was also trying to figure out how he was going to get that 30X50 garage past the association. LOL!!!
Congrats. We also call those modular homes here in Michigan but some people call them pre-fab homes. Nothing wrong with them at all. I would love to have one on a peice of property like that. Is it going on a basement or crawl space?
Oh and.....how are you swingin' this house, property and 30X50 garage all before reaching the legal drinking age?
Most impressive, my man.:Alchy:

LOL, Yeah I guess I should call it a modular home. Its sitting on concrete so it wont sink or move around.
How am I affording it? you ask. Well I'm a very lucky guy. My family has a huge farm so land was free. And the home itself is used. The people only lived in it for 7 months, so I payed 60,000 for it. A bank loan is taking care of all the other fees and other things like garage and whatnot. But I do have to mention my grandparents, they help me out with money. I can afford everything on my own, but they gave me enough money to make things easy. I'm not saying they payed for everything just that they help me out considerbly. They are the greatest people ever. I have been working for my grandpa on the farm my whole life and also work for my parrents campground(going to own it one day soon). So they diserve a big thanks.

Your parents campground in St. Augustine? That's awesome. My wife and I had the funnest time there and JAX. It is a very beautiful town (oldest city in America?). Is it primitive, RV, or what? I might be interested in visiting again. Is it near the beach?

St. Augustine...... Lovely little historical town. I've always enjoyed visiting the historical district (yeah, I know "tourist trap") when on vacation in Daytona Beach.
Andrew, sounds to me like you have worked hard and long for what you have. It's good to see that kind of work ethic in a youngster. I'm sure your family feels the same.
Being so close to the Atlantic, I hope you have that new home well anchored. Sooner or later you will get hit hard by a hurricane. Keep use posted on the progress of your shop.

Yep the RV park is in St. Augustine. It's about 6 miles form downtown tourist stuff. The RV park has water, sewer, and eletric(all sites are 30 and 50 amp). All the sites are pretty much the same and measure 45x60. I have to say it is a fun business to be in but like everything else you do run into problems.

Sorry Andrew, this is a bit off topic. I have looked at your sig before and never noticed that the pic appears to be made with MS Paint. Is this true? If it is, I have to say that it is REALLY impressive.

Yeah it's paint. I found a website with a ton of diffrent cars and found a Nova. All I did was make it look like my car.
