I sold the car in the early 90's to a guy in Orange Ca. It was a green small bock, 4 speed car with black interior. . PLEASE HELP. Thanks. I want my old car back or at least see how it's doing.

Do you have any old paperwork for it that would show the vin? If you wanted some advice on how to find an old car, you could contact this guy; http://www.betteroffdeadcamaro.com/

I've actually talked with him via e-mail in the past and he's a real nice guy. I'm sure he'd be happy to help you out with any questions. Read the story about how he found that car. If he's not the best resource, I don't know who is.

I found the car:seizure:. It is still owned by the guy that bought it 18 years ago. He lives in Orange Ca and in 18 years he has only put 7000 miles on it, never painted it , same interior, everything. It is as if he stored it for me and now I have a chance to get it back. 30k will do it, I think:fingersx:. Sold it in 89 for $7000.00. Not a bad profit.

That's awsome. Even if you don't buy it back, it's really cool you found it again after all these years. Let us know what else happens.

I just called the guy but no answer on his cell. I know where he lives and have talked to him twice on the phone. Should I just show up to his house or wait for him to call me back.:dunno:

Well I called him again and got him on the phone but I am sad to say that after a 30K offer he wants to keep it. I can understand having the car for 18 years and not wanting to sell it so I can just hope that some day I will get a call from him and it will be time to buy it back.

If you show up with $10,000 in 100s and the rest written down on a check, I believe he will change his mind.

Still though, show up with 30k in stacks of 100s and see if he'll change his mind. If it means that much to you anyway. The problem you face though is insulting him by thinking you can just wave your money around and get what you want. So consider it cool that you found your old car and know where it is. He knows you want it and maybe one day he will sell it to you again. You could send him a Christmas card every year just to remind him you're still out there and interested maybe. That's what I would do anyway.

It's a very nice car but to be honest it's a high teens low twentys car. I thought 30 would get it and when he told me he needed at least 30 for it thats what I offered. What can you do other then pay more money? Which 30k was about it for me. Thats a great idea ( the Christmas card ) I have his address and I think I could find out his birthday as well.
