Opinions wanted. I am in the middle of a build, and it is a 1968 Chevrolet LWB truck. I am transplanting an early 70's model 454 BB and a TH-400 that was built right. So far, the mods are a complete front suspension from an 86 Donor truck. So it has a huge front sway bar, Disc Brakes, Power Booster and MC, and has tilt steering. All of this making for a really smooth ride, and much better braking than stock. I stayed with the factory rear Trailing arm setup, but did transplant the 86 10-bolt and some 3:73's. The truck sits at a stock height right now, but the plans are to drop, NOT SLAM, the truck and in this process, upgrade the springs and shocks. I am currently seeking suggestions for springs, shocks, and Wheel Tire combos. You should be able to see some of the mods on my cardomain page (Link in Sig). The interior has been upgraded as well. Please take a look and offer advice suggestions, as I wouldn't want to be looked at funny at the Saturday Night Cruises, if you know what I mean. Please Be Nice LOL!!
To me trucks look good when you put large rims on them. You don't need anything rediculous like 22's or anything, but I wouldn't put anything less then 18's on the truck. I am partial to open rims as well like TTII rims. For drop I would think a 4/6 drop would be low without being rediculous. I am not sure on what method is best though.
Oh I like the dash, looks good and clean.

Mcgaughys is by far the best static drop for that suspension you mentioned. In the rear it a little tough to get that thing to low with springs and you'll need to c-notch the rear frame to allow ample suspension travel. Personally I would do bags on it! Get the best of both worlds! You could do a set of two inch drop spindles in the front with upper and lower cups with a set of 2600 bags, and in the back I can easily fab you a set of cups that would allow you to bolt in a set of bags in place of the rear coils. Trucks are my first love and I have dones hundreds of bag and static suspensions on everything from ford to chevy from the 40's to the present. I would be more than happy to lead you in the right direction just give me a shout on my cell sometime 229-221-4690
