Yeah, I saw that too. I wonder what breed of dog made it look like that, especially with tiny ears. Most wolf/dog hybrids I've seen looked like a wolf or a husky.

At the bottom of the article it said a similar animal that was not known was proved to be a half wolf-half dog from DNA. This one is similar but they don't know what it is still.

Crocodiles jaws inflict higher amounts of pressure than hyenas.

This was put to the test on Discovery or Nat Geo a few months ago. If I remember correctly it went:

I was watching a documentary called "super croc" on either discovery or Nat geo the other day, and they were trying to determine if the croc (whose skull and various assorted bones they unearthed in the desert [side note: they eventually determined the croc (who was missing most of the skeleton) to be 40 foot long!]) had enough jaw strength to prey on dinosaurs. They took some data from various smaller crocs and aligators and a 15 foot male inflicted a LOT of pressure (I can't remember the exact number) but after the guy took the reading, he said "that's the strongest jaw pressure ever recorded by any animal". Not sure which documentary came first, but, that's where I got that info from. What I do remember, is that the super croc, when the info was extrapolated had the capability to produce 40,000 psi (!!) of pressure.
