You see...... it's threads like this that make it so hard to pick out a set of wheels. Just when you're sure of what you want ....BAM , you see another cool set of wheels like these.
These ones remind me of some of the early cast magnesium wheels from the '60s.

Those look incredible. That might just be the nicest Pro-Touring '67 Chevelle I've ever seen (I especially like the lack of chrome). Post some more pics if you can.

that looks real nice! I like the look of painted wheels on certain cars, and you pulled it off pretty well! I also like how you gave the grill and bumper the same treatment

I am running a 6 inch backsapce on the rear 18x10's and a 5 inch backspace on the front 18x8's. But the rearend I have in my car is out of a 72 chevelle so it is an inch wider than the original rearend that came in the car

Thanks guys when I got the wheels I just decided to have any chrome on the car done the same color as the wheels (Got the idea from Jon's car). Just while I had the car at the paint shop we gathered up the bumpers and all the chrome and took them to a local powder coat place (Allot of the chrome was in pretty bad shape so I didn't mind powder coating it). I will get somemore pictures of the car
The front of the car doesn't set level I think I have a weak spring on the drivers side (Still has the 6 cylinder springs under the front of the car holding up a BBC) I am in the process of trying to find some bolt in coil overs for the front

wow! you nailed the look! What tire sizes are those? Mini-tubbed, rolled lips, or just careful measuring?

Thanks guys for all the nice comments. The car has a 295/35 18 on the back and it is a very tight fit with no minitub just a little trimming of the lips. The car still sets up a little high in the back so I am looking at ordering some 2 inch springs and the front is setting on the original 6 cyl springs (One side is lower that the other) So I am going to order me some QA1 bolt in coilovers. Anyone know where to get the best deal on some QA1 bolt ins and does anyone have any idea what spring # I need to make the car set right about where it is in the front?
Thanks

For front springs check out the circle track coils and adjusters available from speedway, stock car products, and other roundy round sources. A few guys on here use them. You will need 5 inch diameter by 9.5 inch free height springsand the "adjustable hidden spring shims" as they are reffered to in the speedway catalog. Do a search for what rates to use as a starting point. Much cheaper than coilovers, or even aftermarket lowering springs, and still allow for adjustment of ride height without changing spring rates.
By the way I think your front tires are backwards. I could be wrong but I think you need to swap sides.
