Hey guys I just got a new 68 camaro with a 383 stroker crate engine still in crate with it. I plan on adding a bowtie overdrive 2004R transmission with a bowtie 2400 rpm stall converter along with a moser engineering 9" rear assembly. I do not know what to do about my suspsension though. I want to get a complete subframe with disc brakes, sway bars, a-arms, coilovers, and possibly rack and pinion steering for hopefully $4000. Is this at all possible or am I looking at big dollars for what I want. What I want is a car that handles better than a 60's car, no ridge racing or anything, and the ability to stop with all that power behind it. I was thinking of jim meyer racing, chris alton, wayne due but he's closing, dse is too expensive. How much will it cost to get my frame powdercoated, disc brakes added to the front, and one of the dse suspension kits but don't know which stage to go with.

Welcome to the site. I would suggest starting a new thread in the suspension forum and breaking down those questions into sections so that we can better answer your question.

$4,000 for everything is going to be tough to do with an aftermarket front clip. Using the stock clip, however, you can have a great suspension and brake setup for that budget.
