BTW, they're not Airborn anymore. They split off from that company. I forget the new name, but I suppose they still have that same phone number. Same people though. Do good work.

do you guys think 375.00 is a fair price to have a brand new alston front clip powder coated. just wondering what some of you guys paid???

very fair . try to sandblast it. and buy epoxy primer and paint to do it. for that price. forget about labor. and it still won't be as durable as paint .

Yes, that is inline, Central CT coatings (formerly Airborn) did lots of parts on my car, and does all our machine bases for work. Excellent work. Not always the cheapest, but the stuff is prepped right.

Another CT one is Becker's Powder in Waterbury-- they don't have the oven size that Central CT has, but they have a good " menu" price list on small parts, brackets, a-frames, etc. I think they are cheaper and faster on the small stuff, but Central CT is hands down the best at the big stuff. -Dan
