who makes "kits" that are supposed to bolt onto the stock Tri Five frame? Any IFS? Etc?

If you are talking about Tri-5's, well there are quite a few. It depends on what you are looking for, ie, performance or just style. I believe Heidt's makes something, but I would just do a google search.
