hi, I've visited this site many times but only just joined up, mainly to get help/info for my brother's project. he askes me for help once in a while, since I read/research more than he has time for. anyway, this is a GREAT FORUM!
my brother is building a '70 RS Camaro, original 4 speed car. bodywork is all done, steel cowl induction hood, finally found new rocker trim, car is beautiful, painted that new GM burnt orange color. full SSBC force 10 brake system, stock rebuilt front end (although I'm trying to get him to go for a hotchkis setup!), torq thrust II 17x8 (yes, another camaro w/ TT IIs!), kumho 225/50 front, 255/50 rear, 383 stroker, trick flow heads, air gap performer manifold, demon 850 carb, comp cams full roller valvetrain, hedman hedders w/ jet hot coating, flowmaster exhaust.
we've been building cars for years, but this is the most ambitious either of us has gotten. I had his old '70 nova back in the day, and I had that set up to handle WAY before anybody coined the phrase pro-touring ( I miss that car!)
again, you've got a great site that I hope to continue to learn from, and maybe I'll have something worthwile to contribute. btw, you're wondering what's up w/ my ID? on www.saturnfans.com (http://www.saturnfans.com), I'm twosaturns, so it's easier to remember! my little SC1 w/ SC2 DOHC swap is a bunch of fun, and gets 32mpg too! not as cool as a early F body, but then again, I don't mind leaving it anywhere, and everybody ignores it!
