Oil pressure Dropping

I am having some oil pressure issues with my car. When the car is cold the oil preesue is up around 40-45psi. But as the car warms up the pressure drop to almost nothing. What would cause the oil pressure to drop? I have been told that it might be cam bearing are going out, does this sound right or is there something else I could check.
