Hello everyone. I'm Lynn Jones from Eastern NC. I recently found this site and I really like it. Although new to this site I'm not new to cars. I'm 56 yrs and have been playing, working on and building cars since my teens, but I'm always picking up new ideas. (Never get too old for that, lol). I dragraced for about 25 years with several different cars, until I finally figured out I couldn't afford to run as fast as I'd like, so I hung that up about 5-6 yrs ago and started back where I was originally, building street cars, which I actually enjoy more than dragracing. My latest (finished) project is a '66 Chevy II 2-door Sedan Pro Touring with a complete tube chassis, ZZ4-430, 700R4 and 9"Ford w/373.1 gear. I completed this car in December of 05 and now have a little over 2k miles on it, and so far trouble free, lol. I haven't figured out how to post pictures yet, but I have photo albums here http://community.webshots.com/user/lynnj831 if you would like to check it out. The pictures are in 3 different albums showing start to finish. My current project is a '31 Model A Vicky, in which I'm building an "Old School Rat Rod", but it's in the very early stages. I'm currently getting the body off the chassis now. Sorry for the long post, but I love to talk cars. Anyone going to Carlisle last week of September?
