All I know is that its Stielows first camaro, and that it used to be all white with some different wheels.

Im mainly interested in the tire sizes and potentially offsets, and maybe even a site that has more info on the car in general, such as suspension etc etc.

Thanks for any help!

Belongs to Jeff Hyosaka now. I'd imagine it's got 275/40's rear with a 17X9.5" wheel (5.5" b.s.) and 245's up front with a 17X8" wheel and 4.75-5" b.s. That's about as big as can fit on the rear without minitubbing.

The wheels are Fikse, I remember Kyle and the crew thrashing to get that one back on the road for PowerTour a few years back. Email Kyle at DSE, he will give you all the specific's you need I am sure.

Yes, Jeff still owns this car (Tri-Tip) and it still looks as good as ever. Saw it myself a few weeks ago.

Probably some sort of springs, shocks and control arms. I could be wrong though. It might float on air. Sorry. I'm not much help here.....:hammer:

I agree with this comment! I know I had some questions about a year ago and knew DSE had the car so I called and talked to Kyle and got all the info I was looking for...

Good luck!

This car was built by Mark and Kyle, many years back, at least that is what I thought. Now, this is a hot rod in every since of the word, this car is driven and driven hard! I remember rolling underneath this car when it was in the first DSE shop (Kyle & Stacy's large two car garage), the x-member was bashed in and there were scraps and gouges all over the under carriage, but the rest of the car is very nice, expecially engine/interior. I believe it has the DSE front end (ie, control arms, etc.). Anyway, very cool car, plus they drove the Power Tour with it.

Stock control arms. He made the spindles. A combo of stock and Corvette spindles welded together, then magnafluxed. I think he changed the mounting location for the upper control arms.I remember the control arm bushings had grease fittings on them. Dont know what the springs were, there were spring jacks. Out back was a 9 inch. Not sure of a rear sway bar. Dont know what springs. I dont recall any mods to the sub frame. I have a pic of the front end but its to fuzzy to make out any details.

ZL-1....isn't that the one you painted for Mark? "Tri-Tip" I think it's called.

Interesting that it has a "Great Lakes Splendor" plate on it. Must not have left Michigan too long ago.
