Discussion with the wife thismorning just drives this point home. She heard a quiz on the radio and had to ask me what a "Flux Capacitor" was.
Is it just me? Most men know the answer...don't they?

Of course. Not only that, but I know that "gigawatts" is mispronounced because the screenwriter heard it that way at a science conference.
Also, notice that twin pines mall becomes lonely pine mall after marty runs over one of the farmer's pine trees.

To verify, I called out:
"honey what's a flux capacitor?"
"A WHAT?"
"A FLUX CAPACITOR!"
"HOW THE HELL SHOULD I KNOW?!"
so yeah. Apparently it's only us dudes.

I use the flux capacitor thing on some of my customers, I tell them they definately need to get one, and I send them to my old work reccomending certain people I had less than great experiences with.

Cougar-KOO-ger (n) an incredibly attractive woman over the age of 30. Over 40 is a double cougar and over 50 (extremely rare and elusive) is a triple cougar*. If said "cougar" has given birth, she is elevated to MILF or Yummy Mummy status.
*to achieve triple cougar status, she must also be extremely wealthy
Here's another related question you can ask: At what speed is time travel possible in a Delorean?

Oh, come onnnnn.
What about....what kind of tires are on the time machine? Or what does its license plate read?
Or, for a little cross-time-traveling referencing, what's special about farmer peabody and his son sherman's names?
Or....for the very advanced....Exactly how long did the clock tower in the movie operate before being struck by lightning? The answer requires clues from all three of the movies.

They are called Cougars because cougars are one of the only animals known to hunt people...much like how older women, stalk us 20-somethings. It's rough being prey sometimes, but somone has to take one for the team!

We're both right. Pre-fox body, Mustang and Cougar (60's-mid 70's) were the same. Once the Mustang went on the Weight Watchers, the Capri was introduced as Mercury's version of the Mustang. The Cougar then shared platforms with the Thunderbird and Mark VII through the 80s.

That sums it quite well. It's a term that is becoming a little more mainstream. The makers of Kokanee beer have a billboard up the road from me that reads "Brewed (in the mountains) where Cougars don't wear lipstick". I actually had to explain it to my wife and one of the guys I ride to work with:hand: . Now that I think of it, my wife would have qualified as a Cougar when I first met her.
