I looked in Jeg's & Summit catalog for a 16 inch colling fan & there are to many to choose from. I would like to get a good name brand company fan but will also get the job done. I noticed that a lot of people & companies use SPAL but I didn't see there product in Summit nor Jeg's catalog. Is SPAL better or will some other brand work. I'm looking for around a 2400 cfm fan to cool a 400hp 331 Ford stroker. The 2400 cfm fan is what I was told would be enough but I'm sure you guys can tell me if this is true from experience. Thanks

I'm VERY pleased with my Spal fan (http://www.spal-usa.com/). You can pretty much ignore the prices on Spal's site and check eBay. I got mine (new) for nearly 1/2 retail from this eBay vendor (http://stores.ebay.com/UNIVERSAL-PARTS-INC)

This is the fan I have. It cooled my 454 without problem and is also doing a good job with the 572. I have a DC Controls fan controller as well which is a great product as well.

Spal or a Mark VIII fan would be my only choices. I currently run twin Spal's.

Thanks for the info. I called the place on ebay & they have a 16 inch in stock for $100.00 that has 2360 cfm. Thanks again for the help & the link. Right now it's hitting 95 to 100 degrees everyday in the south. This should help me out.
