I started doing the hyd. clutch conversion for the tko600 in the chevelle. I'm using a cnc brand push style slave mounted to the lakewood shield. The master I haven't got yet, but I figure you'd want to use a master with the same bore as the slave. That way all the mechanical advantage is controlled by the point at which the master pushrod is on the stock pedal. I've never done this before, but I think if keep the hyd. system 1:1, it will make it simpler to control the feel without ever worrying about blowing the guts out of the slave. The pedal travel will have to be limited to give an equal amount of master stroke as the slave is designed to have. Does this sound like the right way to do this? Sorry about the long post, i'm trying to make clear what i'm trying to do. If someone has done a similar swap, feedback is appreciated.
