Anyone running RA 1's on the street? How is straight line traction? Thanks for any imput. Cory

well...i run them on my 83 rx7 scca car on the track. I have driven this car on the street...and they arent all that bad. Once they heat up they are very grippy. The ones we use on the track are shaved down...but the rain tires are full tread. Im not sure if I would put them on a dailly driver...but a good weekend car...would be a blast with these tires!!

I run them on my Merc daily driver. I take customers out in this car everyday with these tires on it and it's drives great. Not the best in wet traction but it really hooks up when it's dry out. I've cut a 1.60 60' with this tire and ran 11.30's with them so, straight line performance is there. That 60' time could be better with these tires. The Merc can only stall to 1000rpm's so it's hard to really launch the car hard. Buy these tires, you won't regret it.
