Help ! I need one right rear caliper for my Lt1 rear disc brake swap . Mine car has the multi- leaf springs . Anybody know where to purchase one that does'nt cost a arm and a leg without a core charge ? I guess I could use the left one for the core charge , but still don't want to pay alot for one caliper . Got the whole rear setup off E-bay for a little over 100.00 bucks . Thanks !:help!:

Try www.gmpartsdirect.com The caliper will be new GM and they don't have a core charge so it may be less than one with core charge. Just a possibility.

Is the new GM part a complete assembly?
The least expensive new part that I could find was through rockauto.com buying an A1-Cardone part that was a complete unit, meaning it has the caliper basket, e-brake assembly, etc. They have pictures of what you are buying on their website.
A wrecking yard will be your best bet for a less expensive deal.

Rockauto sent out a discount code last night. If I think about it when I get home, I'll post it up. It's only like 5 or 10%, but every little bit helps, right?

I haven't checked my home email in a few days, but is a current one:
Here is a new one.
Thank you for being a www.RockAuto.com customer! To show our appreciation, we have a special discount for you.
Your discount code is:
436342376850
Here's how to use it:
* In our Java Catalog, enter your code in the "How did you hear about us" line of the shopping cart.
* In our non-Java Catalog, enter your code in the "Discount Code" field of the Shopping Cart and click "Calculate Discount."
**NOTE: We sometimes get calls from people who put the word "discount" in front of their code and do not get the discount. Please enter ONLY the discount code, no other words or numbers.**
The discount takes 5% off our already-low prices, and there's no limit on order size or the number of orders. Use the code for your next order, and share the code with friends, neighbors, relatives, the guy at the corner garage--anyone you know who works on cars or trucks.
This discount code expires on August 1, 2006; so don't wait!
I post them all the time on www.NastyZ28.com

I also bought some A1-Cardones through rockauto. The only thing the calipers don't have is the bracket that holds the e-brake cable to the e-brake arm. I would imagine that needs to be bought at a dealer. I haven't hooked mine up yet.

I got mine at a junk yard locally. They cost me $25 for both calipers & rotors. Try a junkyard, maybe you can get a good deal too.

Thanks for the replys . Checked the junk yards , nobody has a 93-97 camaro . The only one that did just got thru crushing all his cars . I'll check with the sight you gave me or maybe i'll get lucky on e-bay . Thanks for the help .
