Hello,
It's been a long time since I've posted here. I actually had to re-register. Anyhow...
As my name states, I have a 74 Nova with 35,000 original miles on it. It still has the original 250 cid six cylinder with some performance upgrades. I'm going to be upgrading to 17" wheels and tires shortly. Probably 17X8 all the way around. I know 17X9.5 would probably fit in the rear, but to avoid possible clearance issues, I think I'll just go with 17X8's.
I have 14" rally wheels on it now and I really like the way it looks. I'm inerested in buying some 17" rally wheels (Plain Silver). Steel if possible. This is a budget ride, and I know they make them in aluminum, but I probably wouldn't be willing to spend the extra $.
Does anyone have a link or a company I could contact that makes or sells this type of rim? The cheaper, the better.
Thanks,
Ryan

Wheel Vintiques sells 17" steel rallys. Check out the following PDF. Look toward the bottom of the file for #66 & #68 series wheels.

The 17" Rally's is the look I am after too, However the only downfall to the steel rally's is the weight. I have heard there is a huge difference between the Billet and the steel and if a big brake upgrade isn't already on your to do list for the 74' you def need to add that in if you decide to go w/ the steel 17's. It would be interesting to know what the difference in weight is as I am on a limited budget as well and a cheaper alternative would be a good thing....

The 17 steel ralleys won't fit with bigger brakes. Unless they have been changed since I looked. They are built on 15 center sections so they would hit any brakes larger than stock.:crying:

Damn man I didn't know that. Makes sense tho now, as I have heard the same thing regarding the center sections.
