OK, help me out here guy's, What are you guy's doing to get titles for old cars and is there a way to get one for a old car, I see all these old car on ebay and I'm looking for a old 50's car to rebuild into a custom, but most of them have no titles, A buddy of mine bought a 36 chevy cp with a title, But it also have a state vin stamped above the org. vin, Like I said I would like to find a old 50's and a 30 or 40 car, but they seem to never have a title, I bought a 81 trans am with no title out of OK. and I can't seem to get anywhere, It just seem to be a shame that a rock soild car will get parted out and crushed because of this nonsence, Please help me out here with any info at all, If you don't want to post up PM me.

If it has a vin you can get a title. Look in Hemmings they list in services section. At least they used to. Paid $250 approx 5 years ago for AMX shell I had. Took approx 2 weeks. All I had was vin#.
