i was woundering on the red 64 chevelle what suspension were u running and how low did u lower the car in the front and back thanks

As far as I remember, it is using all Hotchkis components. I think you might be able to find more info on www.popularhotrodding.com as the car was built in it's pages.

i have already look at that but dose not say how much he lowered it just says he used hotchkis components

i did he gave me the spring number off the front but i can seem to find what spring it is. and he dose not know how much is was lowered in the back

Ask Jody how far the fender lips/edges are from the ground, front and rear, which will give you an idea of how much you need to do to get the same ride height.

alredy did that i was just woundering the exact hight and what he used (ex:drop spindles and springs or just springs)

Gave him the heights, front spring numbers, and that Mark used a B-car spindle conversion. That with a small block/aluminum heads should get him the same up front.

On the rear I cannot see a part number on the springs, although Hotchkis may know. :dunno:

I don't know why I'm thinking its the 2" drop springs. I have to dig up the articles again.

I gave him the front part numbers, so calling Hotchkis would confirm what they are. The rears they may remember, or if you can find his article. The one thing I reminded him was that the taller B car spindle makes a height change in itself I believe.

i want to thank every one who has gave me some info i aprieciate(sp?) it, and sorry if iam bugging you jody. ill just have to find someone with a b body spindle and have them see what the hight is and commpare it to my spindle.
