So, A friend has a 1970 camaro on blocks (restoration began and abandoned 10 years ago, no engine/tranny, interior stripped) and I am interested in buying it.
The cowl tag has the usual; plant, car #, paint codes, but it has no designation for the model car. On the bottom line the only thing is the date code. Also, it has no engine designation, only the 350 V8 code. It has the typical windsheild leak rust and the VIN is illegible.
Any light on the subject? He is asking $750 for the above car (very limited rust) and a parts car to go with it (pretty bad shape, possibly a junker even).
NOTE: There is a very faint outline of a Georgia State Patrol sticker on the windshield - is there any way to tell if this is a COPO other than the VIN?
