Bow Tie 67

I signed up back in June, but have been busy lately so here is my story.
I have a 95 Camaro WS6, yes you read it correct. The car is from Missouri and was a V6. It’s donor was an 2001 WS6 with 23 K. I pirated everything but the body. Wiring, entire interior, fuel tank, suspension ect… Then upgraded with SA Koni’s, weld in SFC’s, STB, Rod end LCA’s and PHB, Global West Torque arm, 17” SS wheels, C5 front brake system, under drive balancer pully, 160* thermostat, hardened pushrods, full length headers, Borla exhaust with QTP electric cutout. ( no cats ) Shhhhh…….. SLP ram air hood to clear the LS1, Hypertech tuning, and a Harness bar with 6 point harness. I painted it Prowler orange with a black roof, rear view mirrors and rear body panel. To date I have only road raced it at Black Hawk Farms in Rockton IL with a best time of 1:28.36 while encountering 4* of knock retard on two of the long straights. At this point the nut needing the most tuning is the one behind the steering wheel. ( not to mention the false KR problem ) It’s has 6 speed with a Spec 3 clutch, steel flywheel, and the clutch hose mod.
My 67 is burgundy with a frame off 5 ½ year ground up rotisserie restoration. She still has the original 327 blueprinted making in the neighborhood of 400 hp, naturally aspirated. Power is sent through a Center Force dual friction clutch, protected by a scatter shield and then on to an M21 4 speed which turns a 12 bolt with 4.10 gears. Suspension wise, Global West upper control arms with Del-Alum bushings are installed. A 1 ¼” front sway bar, Cal Trac traction bars and multi leaf springs. She sits on 17 x 8 and 17 x 9.5 TT II’s with Nitto 245/45 and 285/40 NT555 tires. The front brakes have been converted to disc also. Future plans, if I don’t sell it first, will include Baer brakes, rack and pinion, and ??????
Nice to meet everyone,
Matt
