Hi, well I had my rotating assembly balanced. Had to go the external route due to the lunati crank needed 4 slugs to balance it at 100$ a slug and 300 just for balance. Anyways I reused my lunati rods that I bought oct 2002 and when we were doing final checks my builder notice one rod was out of round. Well my builder wants a new one and not fix the old one because the metal might be soft on that one. So we ordered a new one from lunati and apparently they made them cheaper in four years. The new one was lighter tapered near the wrist pin and thinner at the bottom. So I need to find a rod like my old one. 187.1 was the small end and 408.7 was the big end for weights. I think the forging was HUP and was close grain forging. Thanks for any help.
