My controller keeps running my fan even when the engine is off. The igniton source is disconnected. (i.e. the bat pos, bat neg and output pos and neg are the only connections) and the fan still operates. It is draining my battery which is unacceptable.

So, what other options do I have besides a simple relay?

Thanks,

you never answered my my last question in your other post about the jumpers.
Possibly your DC controller is defective and you can return it for another one.
Without a powersource to the controller (ign) it should not operate.

But to answer your question, Flex-a-lite has a controller:

and Spal has one:

out of the 2, I would more likely choose the Spal unit.

Sorry. No, I have no jumpers installed at all. I disconnected the thermocoupler also. Jabin has been helping me work this out. Hopefully I can figure it out. But I am curious as to what else is out there. Thanks for the links. I will check those out.
