I'm stick in Poland for another week and my new "used" engine is being delivered today. I won't see it for another week. It's a deluxe 350 HO crate motor that I bought from a friend of my brother in law for a $1000. It's only a year old with under two thousand miles. The guys selling it because he's putting in a big block for more power. I can't blame him for that, and I'm getting a heck of a deal. I haven't even seen the thing but the brother in law says it's mint with no major abuse. The guy just has a cruiser and "wants that big block sound" for the Saturday night cruising. I can't wait to see it, I needed something fast and cheap to get the car running for the rest of the summer.

Stuck in Poland ?? It may not be such a bad thing. Grab a piwo (zywiec is my fav) and meet some polskie dziewczyna and have a good time. Poland is the only place I know where draft beer is about $.50 US and the people in the pubs are so friendly and the women are some of the most beautiful in the world!! Krakow has always been my fav city. I could never be "stuck" in poland

Zywiec and Tysky are both excellent and I agree with the comment about the women. My God, Krakow is wonderful this time of year. I'm about an hour north of there. Tomorrow I am flying to Germany for a two hour meeting. I have to leave the hotel at 4am and I will return at midnight. Not the best flight schedule!
