Some Photoshop Magic

I've always liked the fin cars, especially the 1st year, 1957. I was wondering what one would look like without the fins. Viola, a '57 Dodge Royal Lancer:

I really like the clean lines of the quarterpanel.

I dunno man....maybe if you built the back up to run parallel off of the upper body line on the car.

All I know is I'd never seen one of those before, and it is the meanest, angriest, gonna-eat-me-alive car I have ever seen. I love it.

you're removing the best thing about the whole car. Doesn't flow worth a crap w/o it..too low in the rear..love the 57 Dodges..their pick-up that's like the Cameo is way cool as is their 2 door wagon..pull it off and people will question your sanity..they had a 2X4 Hemi in the big boy car

I think it takes some of the quirky character away from that car. It looks smoother but absolutley nothing is smooth about a late 50s Mopar. I'd lighten the bulky nose a little more before removing the fin. Maybe, lose the goofy teeth in the grill, black out the white panel around the headlights and lower the fin like an inch or so. Nice chop though!:twothumbs

The rest of the car is overpowered by the grille w/o the fins. If you can somehow lighten the front it might work.
