I had my 69 SS/RS Camaro vert in a car show recently, appox. 1000 cars. My cousin, who owns a classic car dealership and has had several cars at B&J Scottsdale Auction, was at the show. He couldn't believe what I had done with the car- said it was the best Camaro in the show! But he stated I could never get the money I put into it out of it. He said it would bring about $85K at B&J's. WOW, Oh yes I would! Prices are incredible now, but today a barrel of crude went for a record high-$77+, NYSE dropped 3 digits for a consective third day. Alot of volitility in finances and the world now. Tomorrow classics could be an after thought or a hedge for inflation, hard to predict. Todays youth may want tunners for their mid age toys. I just know I enjoy the heck out of my classic and built it to drive and have fun with it, and at this time it appears to also be an investment.........so get out the checkbook and have fun!
