It might be better to meet somewhere first, then drive in together so we can park near each other. I'd imagine it'd be tough to find everyone there (never been there, but I know how cruise-ins can be). Is there anything close by that's a good meeting point? And what time should we arrive?

I am tentative right now, it sounds like fun, but thats alot of driving and the car has not been run since the end of August.

Any of the Southern CT guys? How are you coming down? If I can coordinate it I wouldnt mind meeting some of you in CT and then caravan down to OBI.

OBI is small, only about 250 cars, tops. The problem with meeting up before the show is that there is a limited amount of parking at OBI (or at least here used to be, haven't been to the new spot yet) and finding parking for everyone in one spot will be impossible. Plus, if someone is late and we have to wait for them, the entire group may miss out on spots. I've gotten there at 7:45AM and have had a lot of trouble finding a spot.

I'm tentative on attending right now as well. I will not have time to send my ECM out and get it back and have the car inspected before Sunday and I'm hesitant on going down there uninspected due to the state police presence. I may still attend, though. It's about 50/50 at this point.

Weathe rpermitting, I am in for OBI on Sunday the 12th. When I went a few weeks ago was there at 7:15ish and plenty of parking. The guys tehre told me in teh summer it is too late to get there but in the brisk weather there was plenty of room until a bit later.

Sounds good, I am starting to get excited for a end of the year cruise. I will keep an eye on the weather outlook, and make a final decision Thursday because I have to come home sometime on Friday.

I can come down 95, the merrit, 84, 91....any of them basically. Which is going to work best for you guys? I will plan my route accordingly.

Dirk, John and I are going to skip thumping our way out to the Island on three lane highways, and are going to hit the twisties up north instead. Maybe a there and back on route 301 in memory of the gixxer, and then Bear Mountain or up to that little town right by West Point and hit a diner for a late breakfast. You in?

I have been checking the weather hourly almost, and it just seems no hope for my on sunday. I know I should man up and take the chance, but driving that far across the state knowing I will hit rain at somepoint on a highway or something....I just cant do it!!

I had to decide today if I was going home for the weekend or not. I am staying here ;(

So I am out for the long island run this time, anyone who wants to the hudson valley/bear mountain run with us is welcome. I will take some pics and post here sunday night.
