1968 Camaro roller in IL new metal (roof skin, trunk pan, quarters, fenders, etc) it's ready for paint - $5500

I need to get started on something. Thought I was dead set on a 69, but I think a pro-touring 68 done up like a Penske replica could be fun. Any thoughts?

Pics coming as soon as their emailed to me.

I'm not an expert but I think it depends a lot on the quaility of that metal work. Also, may depend on what you get with that "roller."

Having bought a roller myself that I thought was complete and came with all the original (even if not going to be reused) parts I've experienced the pain of having to track down oddball parts or the dramatic escalation in my anticipaced spending it's caused.

Well I was looking for just a shell, basically firewall on back for something abused and rusting in a garage for around $2500 so to have most of the body work done, no interor, no driveline, and ready for me to start adding a goodies list to sounds inviting.

I agree with you though on the "quality of the job", until I see it in person it may or may not be a decent snag.

No Deal! Especially if you have not personally seen the car.
