Very flexible sanding boards. Where to find?

I need a very flexible sanding board like what you might use on an old street rod fender. I have seen some advertised where they use rods to adjust the firmness of the board but I can't find where to buy one. My local paint store doesn't carry anything like I am looking for either. :help!: Any ideas?

Can you make your own? I went to Jo-Ann Fabrics and bought some of the 3 or 4 inch thick foam. I cut it into strips and wrapped the sand paper strips around it. It can be rather flemsy if you cut it too thin though. I glued a strip of cardboard to the top of it and that seemed to help a little.

I can but right now I would rather buy one and be done with it. It I can't find what I need by the weekend i will probably make one.

Eastwood sells this same brand but the originator has more sizes available. I will tell you that the 36" block with 40 grit will kick your butt. I've been using them about two years. If I could only buy one I would get the 21". Seems to be my favorite unless I'm blocking a big surface.

The AFS boards are definately the way to go, I agree the 21" board is the most useful, but if you are doing big flat panels the 36" is a must....
