Don't know if I should stick with my Hotchkis setup or try something else. Would like to be able to run the car at some of the autocrosses, street challenges and track sessions once finished on occassion but also keep it drivable for the wife. Like to know what some of you run as far as components, brake setups, shocks/coilovers & so on. The good & the bad. I plan on searching the forum for past info on this subject but thought I would try this first. I've got 3 Malibus, 1 Wagon & an 86 Monte SS so I'm not opposed to trying diffrent setups on different vehicles. 1 is already setup with Hotchkis so I've got others to play with. Thanks for the info.

look up Marcus at SC&C, they are a sponser, look here------------->
They have some neat pieces. I'm looking at either the Stage 2 with ATS spindles or the G5. I never "spoke" to him, but he allways replied when I sent an email with questions.

All these G-body owners on here and only one reply. Come on fellas, I know you can't all be driving g-bodies with stock suspension. Wheres the help?
By the way Rubes, I sent Marcus an e-mail, THANKS.

SC&C seem to be the g-body specialists. I've done business w/them & enjoyed speaking w/Mark on the phone on several occassions.
I just received in the Comp Stage 2 kit. It looks nice but I can't say how well it works @ this point.

I would talk to Marcus also. On the back of mine I have the currectrac control arms and Wolfe Race Craft spherical bushings in the housing. I have Qa1 shocks all around. I'm playing with springs now, because the rear OPG 3" drop springs dropped my frame right on the bumpstops!

I vote for SC&C also. I haven' t talked to Marcus on the phone, but have exchanged various emails w/ him and he really knows his s@$t when it comes to G-bodies.
Just my .02,

The car in my sig runs 640 lb/in front springs, 165-ish rear springs, Bilsteins, F41 sta-bars, poly body bushings, and some other odds and ends. As far as I'm concerned, it's daily-driveable just about anywhere, though the full disclosure is that both my wife and I prefer a firm-ish ride to anything soft/floaty.
Actually, that's still a bit on the soft side for semi-serious autocross with the OE geometry, and the mods you're likely to try that go beyond spring swaps and the like will move you up into some pretty tough company. So I'll recommend spending some thought in that direction. SCCA Solo rules are available as a free download from SCCA.com. Think Street Mod, C Prepared, or possibly the new X Prepared for most PT cars.
Marcus' Stage 2 kit should be noticeably less demanding with respect to spring rate/bar sizes than OE at the same performance point, or represent a clear step up with the same rates.

I've been kicking around whether I'll need to swap parts once I install his the SC&C Comp Stage 2 kit.
I have 640# Suspension Techniques front springs & the matching sway bar from their 'kit' (it's 1 3/8" & solid IIRC). The rear is undecided @ this point. I was considering air-ride because it's nice to be low & easily raise it up a little when you add extra weight. The air-ride works well w/my 68 pick-up so I thought hmmm......
I just don't know what the effect will be because of the spring rate.
