Well we finished up (pretty much) the engine for my best friend's 69. He's building more of a resto-mod kinda showcar kinda cruiser thingy...I'm trying to show him the light of pro-touring, but it's tough when they come from a long line of old-style hot rodders.

It's just a mild 355...he ordered all the parts, but as I recall it's got flat tops, double hump 330 horse heads, victor jr, demon 750, summit roller rockers, and a little comp cam. I'm guessing in the neighborhood of 300 hp.

Yes, we're gonna paint the balancer lol.

Whatcha think? Feel free to throw out ideas on how it could be improved.

Seems like a lot of carb for that motor.

You ain't jokin. I tried to talk them into the 650, but somehow that big boy worked its way into the order. Nobody listens to me.

Paint the valve covers engine color... might as well...
OR Paint the water pump, intake and valve covers all the same color silver...
You asked for ideas... I like the silver/burgandy two tone idea...

The only way you can improve that engine is to put it in his car.:headbang: hahaha looks great, but how to you keep that paint from not burning off? check out my ride quite aways to go. http://cardomain.com/id/mnchevelle
