Ok, I kind of need some idea's here, this is my 65 gto 389 4sp tri-power car, and I have always be a stock kind of guy but over the years I have been changing, I love the old pro-street look and I love the PT look, I would like to do some things with my car but not to crazy, I was thing about some 17 in front and 18 out back and maybe air ride and a two tone paint not sure what colors yet, something bright but not to yuck, I have a red inter, and not yet sure if it is going to be chang out yet from something more modern. So if any of you have photoshop have fun and see what you come up with, it just may get the wheels in my head spinning.

is that an original GTO?

id say the 17 18 idea is a good enough route.. maybe a good suspention setup too..

Yah she all org. I had it for 15 years now and she's not going anywhere, she had the rally I wheel on it then I had some centerline's on it and then I pick up these GTA wheels off a parts car and I put them on it to see how it would look, I thought about powder coating the centers black to see how it would look, but I want some bigger wheels. But you only live one time so I may as well have fun with it, I'll never get rid of it.

Very nice, any other Idea's How would it look with TT2, I know there played out, but there so cool looking, but I would like to find something a little off the hook, something that will make them stop and go, thats cool.

Someone makes the PMD 5 spokes in big billet sizes. They might look nice.

no no no don't tell him about the billet rally 2's. I wanna be the first guy on the site to have them, and i'm stilll savin up and have to get my ats spindles and brakes before i can get em!

a good detail job would do wonders for that paint. Keep the red interior--It's retro-classy, people dig it. At least I dig it. My interior's red too.

A nice respray would definetly help. That door shade is a mile off the rest of the car. I like the second picture with the pontiac rally looking wheels only larger. Please don't hack a nice tri-power car, go for subtle changes to a classic design that can be changed back in future if need be.

Thats kind of the plan here, BIG NO NO to the hack job, that is why I was not going to do a air ride on it, I would have to cut and mod the frame and I don't want to do that. AS far as inter. go's I think I just want to put some nice gauges in it and thats it for right now. You know I look around and see all the cool cars out there and it make me what to do some things to mine, you know, And here I'm driving a all stock car around, yah it nice and I know it needs paint, but the bottom line is it missing something.

65 is definitely one of my favorite GTO years. You can do tons of things with them. 2 tone paint will look killer. I also think 17s or 18s will really go a long way.

You should send those GTA wheels my way. I need another set.

paint wheels and lowering springs will do wonders for the looks. new gauges and new seats will really clean up the interior and improve the comfort level. if you're happy with the way she drives, that may be all you need right there!

keep the red interior, maybe just upgrade the front seats and cover them with someting the the interior of the car. 2 tone black and red would look great or just a fresh red, lower the car with bolt ons add some big wheels, get a spare bumper and have the exhaust exit where the lights/reflectors are located now, maybe get a different hood and have the scoop enlarged and raised but look the same as whats on there now, that will throw people off.

:yeah: Hey I kind of like that Idea, with the hood and two/tone paint, can someone do that up to see what it would look like with the hood you are talking about, and I do have a spare rear bumper for the car so that gave me a neat idea. keep them coming. I'm starting to come up with a sweet ride, I also need a project name.:woot:
