Has anyone tried the QA1 Pro Coil System front end set up for a first gen. I have seen them advertised as cheap as $390.00. I'm going to have more than that into my DSE Coil springs and a nice set of shocks. I'm just wondering if this would be a better way to go before I buy a set of shocks.
I'm trying to keep costs down. I was thinking of going with DSE uca's the QA1 set up and maybe the ATS spindles.
Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks,
Jason

I'm looking at this same issue right now. The only problem I have heard with this is that the LCA should be beefed up where the shock mounts to it. I'm thinking of fabbbing a lower shock mount and welding it to my LCA's similar to the piece in DSE front coil over kit. You can see what I'm talkinng about at the link below.

Anyone else got any input?

It couldn't hurt, but the lower control arms do not need to be beefed up to mount the coil overs. I would recommend, however, that you closely inspect your lower control arms and if they are heavily corroded or bent in this area that you either replace them with solid units or add some supporting material to this area.
