selecting V belts

My power steering belt broke today, and I was wondering what anyone recommends as the best belt you can buy. I was using Gates belts because that's what my engine builder recommended but I'm not sure who carries them, since I have moved from the city I bought them in and I don't have the same store where I am now. Thanks

I've heard good things about the Goodyear belts.

That's what I was leaning towards, have you used the gatorback belts or the standard?

I bought Gatorbacks for my LS1.

I think CarQuest or the other chains can order what you want. I got 'top cog' belts from CarQuest.

I have always considered the Goodyears the best, but honestly they are all pretty much the same
