I just got done installing these on my suspension and noticed as you get towards the last inch of thread on either end the tie rod becomes increasingly harder and harder to thread in. Is this normal? I took them back out a couple of times and brushed the threads off real good and hit them with some WD40 but it keeps doing it. I'm concerned because the toe-in will need to be adjusted further down the road and it appears both sides will need to come in some. I'm afraid the threads may be stripping or something. Can anyone tell me if this is a normal condition with GW tubular sleeves?
Thanks.

Things like that are typically single point threaded on a lathe, and there are numerous variables that can effect the quality of a thread (especially internal threads) from the first part to the 50th part in any given run.
We use Pro-Werks threaded tube adapters for all our links, and every single one gets it's threads chased after the links are welded. Sometimes it's necessary and some times it isn't, but each one gets the treatment anyway.
More than likely you'll need to chase the threads. The cheapest tap you can get your hands on is fine for this, and you can get left hand taps from McMaster-Carr, MSC, Enco, etc.

Thanks for the help Matt. I'll look into it.
