Check out this motor.

It is a 408 chevy (4.00" stroke with 6" rods).

Is that a 350 block or a 400 block?

Is this a better combo than a 383?

Looks like a .030 over 350 block with a 4" stroke. Not too many people stuffing cranks with that stroke in a 350 block. You can see on this pic where the pan rails have been clearanced.

T&L has a good name in the NASCAR world.

it would be better with a 400 block.But I can tell you that T&L doesn't build any junk.They have an awesome rep in the nascar world.I had one of there 9.1 engine's way back when I ran the roundy round stuff
