Weatherhead P/s Hose Adapters

I'm doing the quick ratio steering box swap on my 69 camaro. I got a quick ratio box from A/C Delco, Motormite coupler from Rock Auto and the Weatherhead adapters from NAPA. I saw a footnote on David Pozzi's site that the pressure side adapter may not work. Does anyone have follow up info on this? Maybe I should go with the p/s hose adapters from Lee. The NAPA adapters are made of brass. Will these really hold up to the pressure and heat of a p/s system?

I used those adaptors. You're right, one side didn't work. I had to have a new fitting put on my hose.

I also would never use a late model p/s box again. Feel is way to easy, and ratio is to quick, IMO.
